Clara Vasseur is the Creative Director of Iconic Beautease Magazine, bringing a distinctly European editorial sensibility to luxury publishing, fashion, culture, attraction, and modern identity.
Born in Lyon, France, Clara grew up between the quiet discipline of her family’s classical art restoration studio and the vibrant creative pulse of Paris, where she later studied visual communication at École des Arts Décoratifs.
Her path into luxury publishing was not immediate. Initially drawn to fine art curation, Clara began her career in museum exhibition design, working on immersive installations that explored the relationship between identity and aesthetic space.
It was during this period that she developed what would become her signature approach: a belief that visual storytelling should feel lived-in, intimate, and emotionally intelligent rather than purely aspirational.
Editorial Vision
When Clara steps into a new issue, she thinks first about the world the magazine must create-something aspirational, slightly cinematic, and always intentional.
Her role is to translate ideas like confidence, desire, success, romance, and modern attraction into visuals and tone that feel lived-in, not artificial.
When planning a feature, whether it is a fashion spread, a cover story, or a section involving dating and lifestyle advice, Clara begins with one question: what emotional space are we building?
From there, everything follows. Casting is not about personal preference. It is about alignment. Clara looks for models and talent who can carry a narrative through expression, presence, and emotional energy.
She works closely with photographers and stylists to make sure the visual language remains consistent. Lighting, composition, wardrobe, and tone must all serve the same idea. If they do not, they do not belong in the issue.
